A binge is defined as eating a large amount of food in a short period of time. That means that on those nights when you just want to forget about everything and eat all the chocolate your heart desires you are binging. These binges can lead to bulimia or binge eating disorder. The only difference being that bulimics binge and purge, where binge eaters simply binge.

- May eat secretely, rapidly or snack all day long
