Spread the word
For this project we will be researching politicians that may be interested in helping our cause. If we can raise awareness, we can do something. Once we find politicians, we will draw up a letter to send to them. I should have the research necessary to do this. We will want to explain the magnitude of the problem, how much it has grown in the past 50 years, the possible causes, and what they can do about it. Email me if you are interested and I'll give you more details, instructions and information on where to find the information.
Eating Disorders Awareness Week
We will be assisting the Wellness Center with this informational week that last from February 23 until March 3. They have a booth in the Atrium on Monday and Tuesday of that week. We extended the booth to include Thursday and Friday as well. We need volunteers to help out. More information on this project is still being developed. Cehck back for more information.
Research
There is a bill out about raising the awareness of eating disorders. We need to research this throroughly. Who started it? How far did it go? What exactly will it do? This can help us with publicity. The website http://www.bulimia.com wil be of great help. Email me and let me know if you are interested in helping and I'll give you more ideas and specifics.

You've probably noticed that you can join the Healthy Models mailing list. If you joined you've also probably noticed that nothing has been sent out yet. If you are intested in making short notices as to the happenings of the club for this mailing list let me know. Its not hard work and there is a program to help you do it. I will give you more specifics when you contact me to let me know you are interested.
